Sheepfold is a design-build project by Studio AR&D Architects, meaning it was both designed and built by the same team. This approach allows for a rare level of continuity between concept and construction. From siting the structure within the landscape to selecting materials that feel honest and lasting, Sheepfold reflects a process where architecture and construction speak the same language. Nothing is handed off. Nothing gets lost in translation. The result is a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and deeply rooted in its settings. 

Studio AR&D Architects is based in Palm Springs, California, and is known for designing homes that respond directly to the land and climate around them. Sheepfold is a natural extension of that philosophy: modern, quiet, and grounded. 

The home is currently under construction and is expected to be completed in January 2026.
